Introduction.
The project objective consists in talk to the people about the some different kind of music that exist in Colombia, only will speak about the most popular and of those that they have its information in English. Furthermore the project looks for to be not only informative because its many so boring for that reason the project looks for to be participating. The idea is to make that the students not only learn about the Colombia popular music history, but that they also learn the basic steps of these dances.
Is it by this that in expocision of the project we will show with videos or with expert people in dance (if it is possible) the basic steps for each dance.
Music in Colombia has many different genders depending on the region where they are performed.

MERENGUE
The Merengue is the national dance of the Dominican Republic, and also to some extent to the rest of latin America and later in the rest of the world.
In Colombia the merengue music is very popular and this its present in all popular partys.

Salsa is a dance for Salsa music created by Spanish-speaking people from the Caribbean and their immigrant communities in the US. In colombia the best representatives aren in the valle departament in this place the salsa it has been taken like own And they had word champion of salsa dancing.

The salsa dance is one of the most complex to learn because this has many difficult steps and differetn forms to dance.

The champeta music is a popular music from Cartagena Colombia this is called the music of the town. This music has many influence of the African rhythm and in the last years this had gain more popularity.

Cumbia started in the caribean coast of what is now Colombia and Panama, mainly in or around Cartagena during the period of Spanish colonization. Cumbia is a Colombian musical style and folkloric dance that is considered to be representative of the Colombia, along with Vallenato.

The cumbia dance ist a happy and beautiful dance when the woman and the man interact together. It’s a coqueteo. For this dance is necessary had a correct clothing because some accessories are necessary for the dance.
